Growing out of a child

When you hit age 20 you really hit something else,... first of all you hit the top of the train if you are 6'2, or you would just find so many things to be different and you start thinking about the things you dont really bother thinking when you were 15. hmm.. like thinking about what will you be doing for a living, what is money all about, and whether people genuinely care about one another or is it just a way to 'get by' and 'get what you want'?...

Physically being 20 years of age is one good thing, but it is a problem for many to have a mind as solid as their age. So what makes me a man think? Simply put into perspective, death on the cross by Christ Jesus... Once i had that knowledge when i was 14, i went all the way trying to understand life in the eyes of Jesus, what He had seen and had to say -- all clearly spelt out in the Bible as the living word of God. Because God Himself declared He knew the Beginning from the End, we should all have a view which sees the beginning from the end - looking and experiencing life by understanding a hundred years on earth is less than zero compared to eternity.

The average healthy life on earth basically thinks about three things once he/she reaches an age mature by the world's standards; get a good job, get riches, get a good man/wife. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing - what way then is really living life the way it was supposed to be? Jesus said: one's life does not consist of the things he own. when you set out to do something, and you accomplish it, it can be said as a will done. You are born with 'heaven's will' attached to you just as you were born physically with a birth certificate at hand. Life cannot be said to be as meaningful as it is until one sets out to accomplish his/her given will as a worker of God.

What God sets for a person as a lifelong task will be managed by God Himself, as a man plans his ways, the Lord directs his steps. So it still comes down to having a 'job', just that this time you are working with God and having the spiritual side of you exercised - what is seen is temporary, what is not seen is forever. Your spiritual side is the soft guy/cute little girl inside who has a heart for God somehow, and whenever the little heart inside looks to the trees, the birds and the huge blue sky and feels somehow there is Someone so loving behind all of this..

Love is the lacking ingredient most people do not bother to add into the recipes of their lifes- sadly many choose riches, looks, power, human intelligence and wisdom over it . God assures us when we do the little but important things right, he will assign us the 'greater' things which hold a greater meaning when done with a loving heart than the cold emotionless pursue for senseless riches. I can only ask God to fill me with His love so that I will be able to show it to others what He has given to me -- Remember each time you make someone feel loved, God enlarges your heart even more so that you will keep loving others and never run out of love!

...its true that one can never run out of love when he/she has God in his heart... hmm... so stop living and start loving!

Have a good night,
Shine

Who

Who am I?
Who am I? made in the fashion of Christ:
Who do I want myself to be?
Not, not who I want for myself,
But who the Lord wants for me,
I am not that which I think I am,
But that of who which fashioned me.

Shine Sun

Mind

I cannot stay inactive for long,
The enemy suppresses,
Not for long,
The mind will eventually mature,
Till then i must rise again,
To build rocks under my feet,
And the foundation on Your word.

Shine Sun

Love

The evening of a day is dependent on the morning of it,
The life which comes out,
The love in you which comes out as a smile,
Adds colors to squares....,
Warms the frost in my heart.

Shine Sun

Life

I might be destroyed in an instant if God takes it all away
I would turn to powder
And be dispersed in the wind
Then my soul would return to its maker
And my thoughts will float upwards into eternity,

Fish out of water

Do not feel discouraged because you feel the need to conform to the ways of the majority, stay true to yourself - you are unique and special and see things in a realistic and meaningful way. Know that you were not made to be alone, though we have tendencies to be on our own most of the time, since we feel ourselves and can be totally free that way. Instead, be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you will approve that which is good and acceptable and the perfect will in your life, who you were made to live, dont feel hopeless okay? God loves you so much and takes away your emptiness - that void feeling which is real tiring to live out...

I found what i was looking for in my whole life - everything i would ever need - Jesus, He truly knows our hearts and everything we ever care to think about... and the millions and millions of thoughts which run through your head all day long ~!

Begin doing the things you used to enjoy - the thing which make you who you are, which refreshes your mind and fills your heart with meaning - the things the majority of the people in this world dont really care about or view as unimportant. Do that you will find who you are when you live out your purpose. Take time to generate more optimistic thoughts - speaking on my side, i used to have a tendency of being more pessimistic about life - because we just see things so empty and meaningless most of the time...
Think about who you are. Who you were made to be. What higher purpose God has arranged for you. The way you are able to be yourself when you are alone.Then... when you gain confidence over your newfound or hidden abilities (these could be things you were into all along; identify them, these things were meant to help you develop out of your introverted personality - to gain more confidence and strength doing things you just were not inclined to do so naturally. - like a fish out of water, a mudskipper really..

Next understand that the loneliness cannot be possibly be contented by any human being - this stems from the fact that we are introspective and think about deep and meaningful things - things we observe and consider and take in to reflect, and because we think this way - the feeling of loneliness arises because we feel no one else understands things or sees it the way we do, we cant find someone to share how we feel, thats why we need to get these feelings out! and where better to direct them but to God through Jesus! For His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His thoughts higher than our thoughts, and His ways higher than our ways. Because God's ways and His understanding of things so vast, deep and unsearchable, we can be assured that He understands more than we do!
When we share what is in our heart with God, we will be able to get out the inexpressible burdens no man may carry or share.
Finally - living out your purpose is very important as a gifted person, doing thing which are routine to you makes you tire easily because you are constantly finding ways to improve and to feed your mind through thinking - thinking is what makes you. And when routine plays out day after day, it is very boring, indeed. I sometimes get sick of doing the same thing over and over again (like eating, sleeping, computer) i gradually got rid of all these things which does not give me the energy i need but rather i began living out my childhood hobbies and interests - like fishing though i dont really catch anything;and walking in the park and looking at the trees.) Do what you like!
Your purpose is simply to live out who you are, not to live out the norms of society, environment. You should go out of your way to begin deriving strength through the things which matter to you meaningfully - when you gain the strength you need doing meaningful things and communicating with God by sharing your thoughts, it is more than enough for the day and you wont feel exhausted as you are when you fail to break the routine. Dont worry too much and keep finding creative sources and things you love doing! dont think about tomorrow, for tomorrow has its own troubles.
"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain.."
- 1 Corinthians 15:10

Alright girl! finally SMILE okay?

Good night, and God bless,
Your introverted friend....

Getting to the top - of what you do best

How do you get to the top really? Or practically speaking what tools do your require to do that? Is it all about the connections you have to make with the industry? Or is it all independence - you can do it! believe in yourself!..

Ok you've gone through several motivational materials and ended up being more depressed than motivated. So whats the problem?

The problem is self sufficiency... and it is not only reserved to an individual - but also reliance on other people.

When we deal with man to man relationships, usually there are many motives - for the sake of money, fame, pride, and whatever you see happening in the news.

How do we get a real source of motivation and drive that is not dependent on the world and its circumstances?

Turning to God for the right reasons

Many people turn to God for explicit reasons - they want to get rich, they want to get popular they want specifics. They dont get it because they ask amiss, that they would spend it on their own pleasures. We would see that the world inspires many 'standard' values into every individual - causing them to think in terms of dollars, cents and with their eyes. You would ask yourself a few questions to see your own heart:

1) Would I be doing what I am doing if I were not paid a high sum?

2) Would I be doing what I am doing if no one knew what i was doing?

3) Would I be doing what I am doing because it would benefit others more?

Say no to questions one and two: What you doing is superficial and is world inspired
Say yes to question three: God inspired intentions

How do I get to where God intends for me to go then? Hear what He has to say in Jeremiah 29:11-12,

"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope"

To understand this verse, we simply have to read it over and see that it is not 'do this and you will become rich....' do that and you will be .... God is simple saying in verse 12,

"Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you."

The LORD says and He will listen to us, not that He would give us a instant win lottery ticket, but He will listen to what we have to say - our worries, fears, don't know's, and what if's, and then tell us What He has for us.

How can I believe a God i dont see? - He's not on facebook

Simply, one has to be 'open' to experience God. In the world, being 'open' just really means 'alright, ill give it a shot...'. Most often times, giving a 'shot' does not work - it just doesn't. You hear people around you saying 'we will see how it goes...', 'just try, and if it doesnt work move on'.. STOP!! take those phrases out of your head and start using action words! Actions words are words like Yes and No. Actually action words ARE words like Yes or No.

Do or Do not , there is no try... Yoda is dead but im digging this phrase for sure.

When you are totally 'open' for God in His perspective, your heart is set out on seeking God, and wanting to know Him even if you have doubts on His existence. To doubt is a carnal response and human nature - the disciples of Jesus were undoubtfully, doubting of His abilities. God said that those seek Him would find Him. If you sense it in your heart now to want to know this God, I would ask that you invite Him into your heart - ask Him in prayer:

"God, I dont know you for the most part of my life,
I dont know where im going,
Or how things are gonna work,
Im tired of trying to sort things out on my own
And I put down this pride of my life,
And all I've ever wanted
In exchange for humility,
Lead me, and direct me,
And show me the things in store for me,
I am willing to trust in You
In Jesus name i pray, Amen"

"For our sakes He was pierced, the Son of He Who sent Him, that all would receive life, as many as those who received"

Under Time or Over Time?

when you have more time in your hands currently than before, the intelligent question to ask oneself is; Am i spending more of it the way I should? or Am i spending more of it the way I want to?

These two questions will ultimately lead one to consider either of the two;
1. I find that i do not have enough time to do what i want to do in a day ( poor time usage)
2. I find time exactly passing the way it should ( being time efficient)

A Time for Everything under the sun (note: Everything)

In the book of Ecclesiastes, 8 pairs of complementary verses unlock the plain hidden truth to those who are busy searching in the wrong places for a sense of time. In the introductory verse, it declares simply : "To everything there is a season, A Time for every purpose under heaven"
Indeed we live according to the seasons of the world whether we like that particular season or not. Likewise Solomon who was writing these verses concluded that all things under heaven (on earth) has a priority so to speak to be done in its season; in its 'given' time.

When we place our self governed interests above our daily reponsibilities, we will find a need for more time because what needs to be done has not neccessarily been finished. Reading a book in class is not really helpful if you know you have important concepts to learn in science class. The tasks which are often neglected or thought to be initially unimportant then becomes important at the end of the day. Because it has not been done yet, we fight for more time to do what we neccessarily have not done yet. (think of the uncleared dishes when mom comes home)

The Right Perspective of Responsibilities and Entertainment

Do we live to enjoy at the right time or do we enjoy to live all of the time? (live your best life?: i doubt many of us will live our best life if all we do is indulge in enjoyment)

We will turn to Chapter 3 of Ecclesiastes to extract many sound possibilities that provide direction to all. It writes: "A time to embrace; and a time to refrain from embracing". Because of the perceived notion that when a person is bored; He must then do things to break from his boredom, many people who follow this senseless practice find themselves more bored with the things they try to do rather to fill that void. Feeling bored is simply a feeling that arises out of doing nothing really. And when a person is doing nothing, it just means he does not want to do anything (fix the pipe anybody?).

There are always things that need to be addressed more so than the rest, do these things first and the word of God assures you of more time you can ever imagine to do whatever you wish (not a concession, i'd say)

Do we enjoy the sweet fruits of the harvest or do we eat the sour grapes..

I get the sub-title for this portion from the second verse of chapter 3; "A time to plant; And a time to pluck what is planted"... Many of us unwillingly cultivate a taste for sour grapes simply because we are eating grapes well before harvest season. Patience is really needed for anything to be successful; some try to make it big overnight, some try to pop the question too early, some just use God's gift of the pleasures of sex on themselves. We are really an impatient bunch are we not?

Jesus truly had an important sense of time; His way of telling and tracking time was simply to call us to "Watch therefore..." So many of us fail to live up to 'time' that we do not accurately understand the things that mature along with it. Such is the case when the disciples of Jesus were addressed by Himself having not a discernment for time....Jesus then said: :Do you not say,"There are still four months and then comes the harvest"? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" (John 4:35) The harvest were the Jews that were spiritually ripe for salvation unto Christ.

We see that if we do not discern time accurately, then there is this tendency to miss the 'point', and the likelihood to premature the immature, to overmature the mature.

Discern the Time

Jesus pronounced the condition of mens hearts in Luke 12:54-56, saying to the multitudes: "When you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say,'A shower is coming': and so it is. "And when you see the south wind blow, you say, 'There will be hot weather'; and there is. "Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?

Take the time to listen to your God given conscience calling out to you! Jesus tells us to "lift up our spiritual eyes" to the matter and surrender our ignorance in exhange for the truth of our nature; We being blind to ignorance and sin,we do not see our defeated condition. If we say that we see, then our guilt remains but if we confess to God that we are blind, then we have the grace of God which He gives so freely to the humble. Our sins of ignorance then will truly be forgiven by the blood of Christ who has come to deliver the sincere and honest.

I pray that God will reveal to you the time He has planned for you.

God bless,
The truth will set you free

....Oh Lord!

my bones ache
my eyes fail
what there is for me to grasp..
is Your presence i did not seek..

Heal me
of my iniquities
lest i fall into greater reproach
take me from the trouble of the tongue..

Oh Lord! my soul hungers..
but my flesh is weak..
it goes against good..
and from it, my spirit dulls..

Oh Lord my God!..
i sought for an answer..
from me it did not came..
You who made me from the dust
You who made me to be meaningless
without You...

Hear Me my flock!
for you are faith without power!
Have you not seen the works of My right hand?
Have I not delivered you from your own traps?
Yet you go against what I have set before you..
Hear and you will live..
For My kingdom is not of word,
But therein with power..

Knock and it shall be opened,
seek and you will find,
Ask and it shall be given to you,
And there I shall be,
Awaiting those who seek Me..

The Deceptive hour - now

In this age that is soon due for the return of Jesus, evils continue its ravaging work of division in the family, in the school and the workplace and where the mouth is, lies the most unclean thing of man - the tongue.

It is very important how we should be responsible stewards of this destructive yet potent tool of encouragement.
